What is PNRGOV?
PNRGOV is a new messaging standard of Passenger Name Record (PNR) that was carried out by the EU. It entered into force on 24 May 2016 and with the deadline for implementation by member states was 25 May 2018.
The directive, which should be incorporated into national legislation, forces EU member states to collect and process PNR data of passengers.
It is regulating how airlines and tour operators should manage and provide PNR data to local PIUs.
