How to Master PNRGOV
Unsure on how to handle the new EU regulations for passenger data management? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
This guide was created to give you an understanding of what PNRGOV is all about, what challenges it brings, and how to master it.
What is PNRGOV?
PNRGOV is a new messaging standard of Passenger Name Record (PNR) that was carried out by the EU. It entered into force on 24 May 2016 and with the deadline for implementation by member states was 25 May 2018.
The regulations are forcing EU member states to collect and process PNR data of passengers.
It is regulating how airlines and tour operators should manage and provide PNR data to local PIUs.
