Paxport has today announced the launch of, Paxport Servicing;
an intuitive post-booking solution for the management of
airline Passenger Name Records (PNRs) and Orders

Launching at this year’s World Travel Market in London, this new solution represents
the continued expansion of airline distribution specialist Paxport’s portfolio. The
solution will streamline the post-booking experience for travel resellers of low cost
carrier content, as well as deliver the tools that the travel industry craves to enable
them to harness the benefits of NDC carrier adoption.

Available as a modern API or an interactive agent portal, Paxport Servicing helps travel
businesses with all aspects of flight order management, including ticketing, ancillaries
and changes. The advanced end-to-end technology supports both low cost carriers
and NDC powered full service carriers, providing a consistent and intuitive experience.

Paxport Servicing will greatly enhance a travel reseller’s ability to promote and convert
new ancillary sales, unlocking a new revenue stream for businesses at a time when
they need it most. The World Travel & Tourism Council’s (WTTC) annual Economic
Impact Report (EIR) estimated that in 2020, as a result of the pandemic, the global
travel and tourism sector suffered a loss of nearly $4.5 trillion. Many travel businesses
are still reeling from this hit, so the opportunity to unlock new, and enhance old
revenue streams is a huge value add for the industry. In addition to this, businesses can
also reduce their costs by using the API to enhance their “manage my booking”
capabilities, putting their customers in control of their own travel arrangements.

Paxport’s PaxFaB (Find and Book) distribution platform has long been the solution of
choice for hundreds of travel businesses and airlines who are looking for scalable and
reliable travel technology. This new product addition delivers even greater value to
Paxport connected clients and will form a critical piece of their technology landscape
as more and more airlines are added to the solution.

Simon Taylor, Head of Commercial at Paxport said: “Our product launch at World Travel
Market signifies an important moment – the delivery of best in class airline servicing
technology which will be a true enabler to our clients wanting to better manage airline
reservations post booking. Not only that, Paxport’s Servicing solution will provide the
technology to enhance the online customer experience whilst allowing travel
businesses to upsell fares and ancillaries, at a time where ancillary conversion is once
again at the forefront of travel retailers’ minds.

Tom Fawcett, Head of Product at Paxport said: “This launch marks an exciting
expansion into servicing for Paxport. Applying our established expertise in aggregation,
intuitive product design and cloud technologies to an area where many travel resellers
struggle to efficiently grow.”
